How do I receive payments from bookings?

Payments are processed through Razorpay. Once a booking is confirmed and the check-in date passes, the amount is settled to your registered bank account within 3 to 5 business days.

In your admin dashboard, go to your hostel profile and use the Rooms section to add new rooms or archive existing ones. Archived rooms won't appear to new residents but historical booking data is preserved.

Is my personal data safe?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your personal details are never sold or shared with third parties without your explicit consent. Payment information is handled entirely by Razorpay. Hostel Ease never stores card details.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings, open the Account tab, and scroll to the Danger Zone. You can permanently delete your account from there. This action removes all your data and cannot be undone. Active bookings must be resolved before deletion.

Check your spam or promotions folder first. If emails still aren't arriving, make sure the email address on your account is correct. You can verify and update it in Settings. If you're still having trouble, contact our support team.

Can I change the email address on my account?

Yes. Go to Settings → Account and update your email. A verification link will be sent to your new address before the change takes effect.
